WACEvents
Events
Washington Association for Chinese Education holds many events each year that allow American students to immerse themselves in Chinese culture. Our ongoing yearly events include:
1) Why Learn Chinese Competition: Online submission-based written/visual competition. Middle and high school students tell us why they think we, American students, should learn Chinese for a chance to win scholarship money and an exchange trip to China.
2) Sammamish Days: China Booth hosted by WACE at Sammamish Days, the largest annual city fair celebrating cultural diversity.
3) WACE World Expo: A night for students and parents from countries all over the world to share cultural perspectives, food, performances, and more! Hosted by WACE annually in Washington high schools.
